Project Description

July 2012

Roejen have now completed upgrading the MSAC pool plant automation platform to enhance the water treatment plant performance and communications.

The work included installing two new colour internet ready touchscreens and integrating the existing Feature/Wave touchscreen.

This means all pools in the Stage 1 (completed 1997) and the Stage 2 ( completed for the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games) can be viewed from any computer on the site network and any touchscreen.

Importantly, critical alarms from any pool water treatment plant are emailed immediately to MSAC Operations and Maintenance personnel.

This upgrades takes the MSAC pool plant automation control platform to best industry practice and will help optimise the time of the MSAC Operations and Maintenance personnel.

March 2012.

Roejen was asked to manufacture, install and commission a MechMate Automation Platform for the features plant and wave plant at MSAC in 2012.

The site is owned by the Melbourne Sports Trust and operated by the MSAC Team. The site has a Wave Pool , 2 x 50 metre pool, a Spa, a multipurpose pool a 25 metre lap pool and a dive pool. The site utilises Chlorine as the residual disinfection system and has ozone as the supplementary disinfection. The disinfection platform is a Prominent Dulcomarin system.

Roejen installed a state of the art MechMate Automation Platform which controlled the both the Features and the Wave Plant.
