Project Info

Project Description

March 2012.

Roejen was asked to replace the switchboard at the PLC Aquatic Centre. The site is owned and operated by the college. The site has a 25 metre pool and a smaller. The site utilises Ozone/Bromine as the residual disinfection system. The Ozone Generator is an Ozonia CFS6.

Roejen installed a state of the art MechMate Automation Platform to control the following equipment:

  • Circulation pumps
  • Ozone Generator
  • Bromine dosing
  • The Auto-Flow Backwash Valve
  • The heating system
  • The local sump pumps
  • Dosing (Bromine and pH control)

The system will also utilise the Web Serving Functions and Email functions of the platform so the operators can remotely monitor the system. The system also uses a GSM modem to send an SMS if the plant has a fault.
